Kursusindhold
This course examines the organizational forms most suitable for achieving sustainable societal and corporate impact. It covers corporations, social enterprises, nonprofits, and advocacy organizations, exploring their roles and limitations.
The course begins with a macro-level perspective on global governance, international agreements, voluntary codes of conduct, and sector-specific initiatives. Participants analyze organizational culture, leadership styles, and strategic, operational, and tactical layers that shape sustainable transformation. Practical exercises focus on facilitating collaboration across diverse mindsets, value systems, and institutional contexts - a critical skill in forming effective cross-sector partnerships. Case studies and discussions emphasize how global strategies translate to local impact, equipping participants to navigate multi-level governance and organizational challenges while creating tangible sustainability outcomes.
The second part addresses complex strategic sustainability challenges in real organizational contexts. Participants apply research, co-creation, and innovation methods to frame challenges, synthesize solutions, and design actionable strategies that balance environmental, social, and economic considerations. The project develops skills in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and inclusive collaboration, culminating in a written report and oral presentation to senior management. Solutions aim to create long-term organizational value, align with global sustainability standards, and demonstrate professional consultancy and strategic leadership capabilities.
