The Master Project demonstrate the capability in conducting analyses covering several business and sustainability disciplines as well as the ability to integrate such disciplines into a coherent form. The master project is written individually or in groups of two participants.

Overordnede kursusmål
The Master Project should demonstrate the author’s breadth of view regarding the ability to arrive at well-grounded proposals for management actions concerning cross-disciplinary and cross-organizational sustainability problems. The master projects should demonstrate the ability to reach and present well-grounded proposals that should lead to implementable solutions.
Læringsmål
En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
  • Identify a complex sustainability-related organizational problem.
  • Apply elements of current research at an international level to develop ideas and solve problems.
  • Apply multidisciplinary scientific methodologies, theories, and tools within sustainability.
  • Develop the ability to take a holistic and systemic view of a sustainability problem.
  • Develop relevant models, systems, technologies, and processes aimed at solving sustainability-related organizational problems.
  • Discuss research-based knowledge both orally and in writing.
  • Understand how to seek out leading international research within multidisciplinary sustainability.
  • Develop the ability to work independently and reflect on your own learning, academic development and specialization.
Kursusindhold
The master project course involves identifying a complex sustainability-related problem within an organization and addressing it using multidisciplinary scientific methodologies and cutting-edge international research. Participants are expected to take a holistic and systemic approach to the problem, developing models, systems, and processes that offer practical solutions. The thesis requires both written and oral communication of research-based knowledge and demonstrates the ability to work independently while reflecting on personal academic development and specialization in sustainability.
