The program is based on action learning where theories, methods, concepts and tools are employed on real business challenges and issues from the participants companies. Lectures are paralleled by casework, group work and assignments.

Overordnede kursusmål
The course objectives are to convey judgment and inspire new thought processes about service and equip the MMT participants with practical use of concepts, frameworks and analytical tools of service innovation & management.
Læringsmål
En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
  • Recognize and evaluate service innovation tasks on a strategic level
  • Recognize and evaluate service innovation tasks on an operational level
  • Identify and frame a service innovation problem strategically and operationally in the participants’ company
  • Analyse and solve a service innovation problem strategically and operationally in the participants’ company
  • Analyse and understand in own company the cohesiveness between company (strategy), customer (expectation/experience) and employees - the service triangle
  • Utilise the analysis of the service triangle in own company
  • Use selected techniques for idea generation and selection
  • Use selected techniques for development
Kursusindhold
The overall purpose of the course is to train MMT participants in the Service Innovation & Management concepts at the executive level. This course is designed for both private and public companies within service industries but also companies that want to add service offerings to the business strategy to strengthen the market position.
Previously more and more industries often failed and were trapped to compete on price because product offerings were commoditized. That forces companies to develop new market strategies, new products/services and new understanding of how to organize and finally implement changes.
