Mundtlig eksamen og bedømmelse af rapport(er)
Online individuel multiple choice eksamen (30% af den samlede karakter), 25 spørgsmål på 25 minutter. Individualiseret gruppeprojektopgave i grupper af 6 studerende (70% af den samlede karakter) som afleveres ved semesterets afslutning (inden afslutningen af 13 ugers periode). Gruppeprojektopgaven præsenteres og eksamineres ved mundtlig eksamen for hele projektgruppen. Hvert medlem af gruppen præsenterer sit bidrag til rapporten.
Der afleveres en rapport med individuelle bidrag. Mundtlig gruppeeksamen er 30 minutter.

Overordnede kursusmål
This course encompasses the process of managing sustainable organisational change and transitions. It enables students to learn how to manage change processes and how to navigate individual, group, and organisational perspectives to safeguard both organizational performance and wellbeing (SDG 3 & 8). This is achieved by introducing theories and models of change management, applying these to practice cases and plan an organizational change intervention in relation to a specific case.
Læringsmål
En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
  • Describe the forces that are transforming organizational change, goals and practices including the SDGs
  • Compare and contrast the models for leading organizational change (e.g., Lewin, Kotter).
  • Understand the impact of change management on organizational results and the organizational design
  • Understand critical success factors for implementing technological change in environments and the critical role managers play in the change process including how to mitigate employee resistance
  • Apply practical tools and theoretical concepts and models covered in the course to analyse a current organizational change in practice
  • Apply theoretical concepts and models covered in the course to plan an organizational change intervention in a simulated or practical context
  • Write a clear and concise consultancy report about a practical case of organisational change
  • Relate the analyzed change case to the SDGs 3 & 8
Kursusindhold
The course focuses on the management of organisational change and transition processes. It introduces core theories and models for organizational change processes, from visioning the change, to delivering the change, and sustaining the change. Case of an organisational transition are used throughout the course to apply and exemplify the theories and models. In addition, specific examples are presented through guest lectures from a number of institutions. Based on the learnings in the course, the students will identify, investigate, diagnose and analyse a self-chosen practice case of organisational change.
