Overordnede kursusmål
The course allows students to explore and learn elements of entrepreneurial finance, focusing on technology-based start-ups and the early stages of company development. It covers basic accounting requirements and addresses key issues, which challenge all entrepreneurs: what is a reasonable valuation of the company; how much money can and should be raised; when should it be raised and from whom; and how to structure funding, and exit decisions. It aims to prepare students to make decisions about these issues, both as entrepreneurs and as potential investors.
In addition to theoretical teaching, students will interact with the practices of entrepreneurial finance through project work/shadowing financing decision makers.
