The course takes the form of a research seminar where junior and senior faculty at DTU and beyond is invited to present their recent research for discussion.

Overordnede kursusmål
Insight into current research in management, technology and innovation and its implication for society. To learn about academic identity and scholarly practice. To understand what it means, and takes, to be a researcher with societal responsibility and academic courage.
Læringsmål
En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
  • Present ongoing research to an academic audience;
  • Discuss ongoing research critically and generatively;
  • Engage an audience in research questions of importance.
  • Have the capability to consider research implications and impact on society;
  • Have the capability to identify further research questions based on the state of the art;
  • Communicate research and its potential significance to an academic audience and beyond;
  • Consider research potential across disciplines;
  • Exchange ideas with people from different disciplinary backgrounds.
Kursusindhold
After the seminar students are expected to participate in a scientific descussion critically reviewing the approach taken and suggesting areas of related and future research.
The participant is expected to be an active member of the research community and contribute to the discussion. The participant is also expected to present own research. There is a four-page reflection summary that is required as a written output.
