The course combines:
• Project-based learning. • Peer learning. • Short lectures. • 2 Excursions. • A scientific report about the state-of-the-art of a living system (12-15 pages in groups of 3-4 people). • Final presentation/examination and peer discussion of the report (25-30 minutes per group). • Two peer reviews of two other groups' reports (1.5-2 pages each). | |

Evaluation of exercises/reports (project report (50%); Project presentation and discussion (25%); Two peer reviews and questions (25%)). Updating the weekly logbook of individual progress is necessary in order to participate in the final presentation/examination. | |
