Mundtlig eksamen
Nine questions are presented to the students before the examination. One question is selected at random and defended. To participate in the examination the student must take part in the exercises and presentations and follow the course actively.

Overordnede kursusmål
To introduce the students to the concepts of project management and to carry out exercises in problem solving related to project management.
Læringsmål
En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
  • Understand projext management as a managerial task..
  • Understand strategic project management, project programs and an organisational project office.
  • Scope a project. Break down a project from an overall project framework to individual activities.
  • Plan a project's time frame from start to completion using known and acccepted techniques such as Gantt chart, Network Diagrams and appropriate project management software tools.
  • Estimate time and cost of project activities and of an overall project.
  • Make a budget of project revenue and costs.
  • Track the financial and time performance of a running project and perform a risk analysis of the project.
  • Understand how to evaluate a company's project mangement skills.
