The program is based on action learning where theories, methods, concepts and tools are employed on real business challenges and issues from the participants companies. Lectures by top notch international faculties are paralleled by casework, group work and assignments. Substantial part of the module is a consultancy project where the participants in groups of three to five make an thorough analysis of a business challenge in one of the class mate’s corporations

Overordnede kursusmål:

The aim of the module is to provide the participants with action-learning based knowledge about relevant topics within organizational change and financial analytics that can be applied in the participants’ companies. The module aims at qualifying the participants in organizational analysis and change management and at qualifying them to understand and approach financial information and give input for the business cases in regards to innovation projects. The goal with the consultancy project is to make the participantw familiar with the role as a consultant and executive a comprehensive business analysis.

Læringsmål:

En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
  • Use the four organizational perspectives (frames) on management and conduct an organizational analysis
  • Describe the main theoretical foundations of change management and describe the central elements of the Star Model
  • Conduct an organizational diagnosis based on the Star Model and propose an organizational design that provides optimal conditions for innovation
  • Design change process based on one or more of the models of planed change and explain the benefits as well as the limitations of the planned approach to change
  • Recognize the situations in which the various approaches to change are most appropriately to be used
  • Apply the principles of Financial Management and Managerial Accounting in management of innovation projects with regards to legal basis and theory as well as the verbal parts of the annual report
  • Operate with cash flow, valuation, budgeting, risk analyses and management
  • Valuate projects
  • Perform the role and tasks of a business and management consultant
  • Execute large, comprehensive, cross-disciplinary project with a value in itself

Kursusindhold:

The aim of this module is to provide the participants with action-learning based knowledge about relevant topics within organizational change and financial analytics that can be applied in the participants’ companies. The module B aims at qualifying the participants in organizational analysis and change management and at qualifying them to understand and approach financial information and give input for the business cases in regards to innovation projects.
