The course is a pilot initiative developed as
part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Talent development
project funded by Industriens Fond. The first module is aimed at
MSc students who have never taken an entrepreneurship or Innovation
course. It is expected that such students are recommended to the
course by the talent scouts. The content will place strong emphasis
on exploring commercial potential of technologies that are familiar
based on student education or study line.

Module 1 is targeted to master-level students who have not
previously taken an entrepreneurship course but who could benefit
from exploring the entrepreneurial potential of their specialist
area, are recommended to the program by the talent scouts and
satisfy other selection criteria. This module will provide basic
understanding of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and
designing a suitable business model for the recognized opportunity.
The student will be introduced to the processes of idea generation,
evaluation and exploitation, and taught how to design a business
model drawing on basic knowledge on strategy, marketing and
management of entrepreneurial firms. Student will leave the course
with a business case and a basic business model which they can
develop further in module 2.
