To introduce the basic concepts of statics and mechanics of
material.
The course treats the fundamentals of mechanics, and the students
will learn to analyse and calculate stiffness and strength of
simple structures and their sub-components, including the influence
of material properties.
Content:
The course will address themes that are fundamental for static
calculations on mechanical systems and will provide an
understanding of the strength relationship in mechanical
designs.
