This course is held in collaboration with the COST Action PA1102 programme on "Optimising and standardising non-destructive imaging and spectroscopic methods to improve the determination of body composition and meat quality in farm animals (FAIM)"
This course is taught during May 29-31, 2012. It consists of a mixture of lectures from invited speaker, local speakers, hands-on computer exercises, and participation in the DTU Visionday

Kursusindhold:
In a series of lectures by invited COST action speakers (Chris Glasbey,Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland) and Paul Allen, Teagasc), local speakers (Tron Darvann, University of Copenhagen, Koen Van Leemput, Mads Fogtmann, DTU) the elemenst of 3D imaging farm animals including image acquisition, image registration, image segmentation is covered. Basic methods is introduced and advanced methods are illustrated.
