The 5th workshop on Theory of Randomized Search Heuristics (ThRaSH) will take place on July 8-9, 2011 in Copenhagen in collaboration between DIKU and DTU. The workshop has also been acknowledged as a PhD school by DIKU. The PhD students will be awarded 2 ECTS units for participation and a written essay. In the essays, the students should describe how randomized search heuristics could be used in their field of research.
