Forår Steder: Danmarks Tekniske Universitet og Aalborg Universitet
Undervisningsform:
Forelæsninger, diskussion i plenum, oplæg og øvelser i mindre grupper, projektvejledning i forbindelse med skriftlige oplæg, opponering af medstuderendes projektarbejde.
To introduce participants to, or further develop their competences in, sociotechnical theory and analytical methods from the interdisciplinary field of Science and Technology Studies (STS). The course is, thus, intended for beginners as well as participants already familiar with STS.
The course teaching will particularly be oriented towards STS as a fruitful venue for addressing innovation and design, broadly conceived, and the course supervision will be directed toward the treatment of the subject matter in direct relation to the individual participant's Ph.D. project and dissertation work.
Participants will be expected to prepare, as part of the course, a substantial draft (part of a chapter in the dissertation), drawing on the relevance of the course’s subject matter for the project’s theoretical orientation and/or actual analytical treatment.
Læringsmål:
En studerende, der fuldt ud har opfyldt kursets mål, vil kunne:
Engage research methods to identify relevant actors and issues in product and service innovation.
Utilize a broad concept of design and innovation in the analytical treatment of design and use issues relating to artefacts and services.
Address processes of enrolling disparate, heterogeneous sources of knowledge in design and innovation.
Consider the student's present framing of research questions, and possibilities for their further qualification and development through reframing.
Actively engage the course contents to ongoing dissertation work.
